The MDH
Substance Abuse Treatment Program is an intensive
8-week community
reintegration program developed exclusively for male offenders with a chronic
history of substance use. The program has three overarching
goals:
To
focus on developing relapse prevention and maintenance skills that will
facilitate a drug-free lifestyle.
The MDH Program
is an open-ended program that permits continuous intake. It is offered over an
eight week period. "Module 1: Orientation" and "Module 8: Reintegration" are
delivered on a one-on-one basis. After completing Module 1 the participants can
enter the program at the beginning of any Module.
